A laminated magazine ad from a folder packed with them that I found at a radical bookstore in Pittsburgh, December 2017.  This particular ad epitomizes pure 1970s wink-winkiness: “Bedmates…We did the gown…while we were at it…add to your Bedmating fun.”  Did Munsingwear, Inc., name this Bedmate line after the elite women’s college that had just started admitting male students?–DVM, January 26, 2018, 3:44 PM EST
