Fondue, 1994. About 2.75″ x 4.25″. An eight-page insert written and illustrated by DVM, and designed and published by Ms. Al Hoff, as part of her zine Thrift Score (motto: “A Zine about Thriftin'”). That zine, the Olivia Engh Gallery, and my Pittsburgh post-office box no longer exist. Also, the fourth paragraph mistakenly omits a line. The relevant passage should read “He said he wanted to serve fondue just for laffs (ha, ha–the typical suburban party treat), even though he had never seen it. I said I’d never seen fondue either, but then again most people probably haven’t.”–DVM, April 17, 2017, 6:39 PM EST
